Our commitment to spread love and comfort during times when people need it the most through pet therapy.
My Story
My goal to have a therapy dog started back in 2010 when I was visiting my dad at the Hospital in Philadelphia and a Great Pyrenees walked into the room and I almost started crying I was so happy to see my dads face light up after he saw the dog. After that I looked into how I could get Sulley, our first golden retriever certified and the day someone called me back to tell me what I needed to do was the same day I found out Sulley had cancer. After we got Sawyer, our second golden, 9 years came and went. The minute we got Negan I was determined to make it happen. Starting “Paws Be With You” is my dream come true. Our goal is to be with people when they need love the most. Negan is the Official Fire Rescue Therapy Dog for The Greenacres Fire Department. We have over 600 visits to Spanish River High for the special needs program, Delray Medical Center, Hamlin Place, Brookdale, JFK North (psychiatric Hospital), Quantum House and the VA Hospital. I am so grateful Negan can help people at some of the weakest moments in their lives.

Negan, the furry ambassador of hope and comfort, is more than just a dog. He's a therapy dog extraordinaire, the heart and soul of Paws Be With You, a company dedicated to bringing joy and healing to those in need.
His human companion, Charlene, founded Paws Be With You with a vision: to be there for people when they need love the most. And Negan, with his gentle nature and infectious
enthusiasm, is the perfect partner for this mission.
As the Official Fire Rescue Therapy Dog for The Greenacres Fire Department, Negan has become a familiar and comforting presence in the community. We are registered and accredited with Therapy Dog International and is officially recorded a therapy dog supreme by the American Kennel Club. We have over 600 visits to schools, hospitals, nursing homes and care facilities, spreading his warmth and affection to hundreds of people.
From the special needs program at Spanish River High School to the psychiatric wards of JFK North, Negan's presence has brought solace and joy to those facing challenges. His ability to connect with people on a deep level is truly remarkable, and it's a testament to the power of the human-animal bond.
Negan has also made a significant impact at Delray Medical Center, Trustbridge hospice, Hamlin Place Nursing Home, Quantum House, Brookdale Senior Living and the Veterans Affair Medical Center, providing comfort and support to patients and veterans alike. His presence has helped to ease anxiety, reduce stress, and promote healing in these challenging environments.
Charlene is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share Negan's love and compassion with the world. Together, they continue to make a difference, one wagging tail at a time.
